Hello everyone. Please forgive me as I write this blog as I have never ever written one before. I just wanted to come on here and tell you a little about myself. I have started this little store of mine for several reasons. The first reason and there are many is I love to create things that are useful and pretty at the same time. I have a passion for art and crafting and just designing products. I am an artist as well using paints, pastels, pencil and all that good stuff. I have not sold many paintings as well I mostly give them away. I feel everyone should be able to have some nice to put on their walls.
Second reason for this Shop is because I cannot find work in the regular way as the job market is so busy with other people trying to find jobs too and well being 56 years does not help anymore especially if you do not have the perfect hair or you have wrinkles. So I decided to try this and well it is not easy. Oh the making of the products are easy but finding your way through the business end of it is not.
I am looking for some help but here is another reason I am here. My husband cannot work anymore and I am looking after him plus my daughter who is 11 years old. We have lost a lot of money due to things I will not get into but we have almost been evicted out of our house because he lost his ability to work. We have food on the table and a roof over our heads but...we cannot live this way. We would love to go the grocery store and not have to put things back.
Anyway enough of my sob story and let you know my products are to bring back happy memories for those who lived in the era I am designing in. I love the era I am doing because they used colour!!!! Interesting textures, and most of all just fun. I love that time it seemed much simpler and well I just think I was born in the wrong era.
Anyway I hope you have fun looking around my little store. Even if you do not purchase anything at least you had fun going down memory lane.
